SUZUKI TL1000R 1999

Why the average rating? Cause these bikes are let down by poor handling characteristics. Power is smooth and present all throughout the rev range and it has a very good top end. Braking is exceptional, which is helped by the immense presence of engine braking.

The TL carries it's weight up high, and makes you feel like you are falling in corners. It is also physically big, though not overly tall. Ergonomics feel good, with not too much strain on the wrists and back.

Like I said, great bike, let down by poor handling.
